When you create a new account, we upload a copy of your local project. This can sometimes fail if the file is very large or if the window is refreshed during the upload. While we work on a fix, here are steps you can take to recover your old file:
Visit our recovery page.
This will load your old project. Our plan will be to save the file as a .tldr file then upload that file to your tldraw account’s files.
Click the three dot menu.
Click Download file.
Save the project as a .tldr file somewhere on your computer.
Visit tldraw.com. Sign in to your account if you’re not signed already.
Click your name in the bottom left corner.
In the menu that opens, click Import file…
Select the .tldr file that you downloaded.
Once the upload completes, your file should appear at the top of your sidebar.
